Patient Research

Our HTC currently offers our patients the opportunity to participate in various research studies. These studies are integrated with patient care, while aiming to improve the overall understanding of health issues experienced by people with bleeding disorders. We hope that these projects will enable us to keep blood disorders at the forefront of scientific research and for us to become better advocates for our patients.

A partial list of ongoing studies are listed below. If you are interested in being a part of any of these research projects, please contact us or talk to our staff at your next office visit. We will discuss the study with you more thoroughly and outline your responsibilities as a participant.

  • Community Counts! CDC Public Health Surveillance of Bleeding Disorders – Registry
The purpose of the project is to monitor the health status of people with hemophilia and other bleeding disorders seen in hemophilia treatment centers nationwide and to better understand health issues among these patients.
