To Our Patients:
The Coronavirus (COVID-19) has created many challenges to the healthcare system in a short amount of time. We are committed to providing you treatment and care during this crisis. We also want to reduce the potential spread of COVID-19 to our patients and staff members.
We have decided to pursue Telemedicine, this will allow us to provide you with medical care from a distance. This means our healthcare providers can diagnosis, treat, and communicate with you through technology like smart phones, computers, tablets, etc. The goal is that our providers can offer accurate assessments of injuries, address concerns, and changes during a time when face to face contact is limited.
We will be using Zoom as our platform for telecommunication. This is an encrypted and secured site that allows video conferencing for you to communicate with our providers. We understand that this is something new and there could be some frustrations with using technology and navigating this platform. We are available to walk you through the process and assist you with navigating this system so you can be connected with a provider quickly and easily. Additionally Medicare and most insurance companies are waiving co-pays for this service during this time. We will still be managing minor issues over the phone.
We strive to provide you with the best care for your bleeding disorder, especially during these uncertain times. Please call us with any questions or concerns about telemedicine or our adjusted operations during COVID-19. Please alert us if there are any changes with your contact information (phone, email). Thank you for your understanding and flexibility during this time.
