Offering Support.

Western New York BloodCare aims to be your first and best choice for health management of your blood related needs. We proudly specialize in diagnostic and clinical services, advocacy, education, community outreach and research initiatives.

Connecting with Each Other.

Western New York BloodCare was originally founded as the Hemophilia Center of WNY in 1969 and was originally located in the E.J. Meyer Memorial Hospital, now ECMC. In 1984, a pediatric satellite was established at Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. In 2009, both the adult and pediatric sites re-located to 936 Delaware Avenue, enabling all patients to be treated at one site. The comprehensive care model for treatment and disease management has been used since the HTC’s inception. We have provided services to the eight counties of Western New York for 50 years.

Our Mission

Western New York BloodCare is a separate, not-for-profit, New York State licensed diagnostic and treatment center offering a variety of specialized diagnostic and health maintenance services for persons with blood disorders that require lifelong medical management. Through its clinical services, advocacy, education, and research initiatives, Western New York BloodCare strives to improve the quality of life for people affected by these conditions.
